At TopDog Prizes, every draw is conducted fairly and transparently. All prizes are awarded in accordance with the laws of chance — every entry, whether paid or free, has an equal chance of winning.
Standard prize draws
For our standard competitions, winners are selected using RandomPicker.com — an independent, third-party draw platform used by thousands of competition operators worldwide.
Independent and impartial
RandomPicker.com operates independently from TopDog Prizes. Once a draw has been submitted to the platform, we have no ability to influence or alter the outcome.
Verifiably random
RandomPicker uses a certified random number generator to select winners. All entries — paid and free — are included in every draw and carry an equal chance of winning.
Public record for every draw
Every draw generates a permanent public record on RandomPicker.com showing the total number of entries, the draw date and time, and the winning entry. The record also includes a search tool so any participant can confirm whether their entry was included in the draw.
How to verify your entry
Once a competition has closed, visit its Results page on our site. Each results page links directly to the public RandomPicker record for that draw, where you can search for your entry reference to confirm you were included and see the full winner selection.
Instant win draws
Some of our competitions are instant win draws, where you find out immediately whether your entry is a winner.
How instant wins work
Winning outcomes are pre-allocated randomly across the total pool of available tickets before a competition opens. From the moment a competition goes live, any ticket can be a winner of any prize; there is no delay and no minimum number of competition entries required before any prizes can be claimed.
Equal chance for all entries
Free postal entries to instant win draws are included in the same ticket pool as paid entries and carry the same chance of winning. Details of the free entry route are clearly shown on each competition page.
Instant wins are a minority of our competitions
In line with the Voluntary Code of Good Practice, instant win draws do not form the majority of our total competitions at any given time.
Our commitment to fairness
Regardless of draw type, TopDog Prizes commits to the following:
- We never cancel or postpone a draw due to low ticket sales.
- We never reduce the value of a prize due to low ticket sales.
- Winners are contacted promptly and prizes are fulfilled as advertised.
- Every entry — paid or free — has an equal chance of winning every available prize.
