Responsible play
TopDog Prizes is a paid and free entry competition website designed to be a fun and exciting way to win amazing prizes. We are not regulated by the UK Gambling Commission but remain committed to providing a service that is socially responsible.
We offer a free postal entry route which gives exactly the same chance of winning as a paid entry. Our competitions are not a way to make money — please only spend what you can comfortably afford.
Signs you may have a problem
If you think you are having problems whilst playing on TopDog Prizes, we want to help you as quickly as we can. Please look out for these warning signs:
- Treating competitions as a way of making money rather than a source of entertainment.
- Attempting to chase losses or entering competitions to escape financial difficulty.
- Spending money and time beyond your means.
- Selling possessions or borrowing money in order to keep playing.
- Feeling unable or struggling to manage or stop playing.
- Neglecting work, family, or other responsibilities due to time or money spent on competitions.
If the fun stops, STOP PLAYING.
How to set limits or take a break
Log in to your account and click Play Safe in the left-hand menu to access the following tools:
Spend limit
Set a maximum amount you can spend per week, per month, or per year. You can set this to £0.00 to prevent any spending. Go to My Account > Play Safe.
Timeout
Take a temporary break by selecting a timeout period. Your account will be deactivated for that duration and you will not be able to make payments. Your existing draw entries will be valid. Go to My Account > Play Safe > Timeout.
Permanent closure
To permanently close your account, select Permanent from the timeout options under My Account > Play Safe > Timeout. If you have any difficulty closing your account, email us at [email protected] and we will action it for you. Your existing draw entries will be valid.
Actions we may take
As a responsible business that wants to ensure all customers play for fun and within their means, we may contact you if we notice any behaviour that appears unusual or excessive. In some cases we may restrict or suspend account activity to prevent further harm.
